In this section, you will know about the ICC T20 world cup 2022 match played between two Asian teams Pakistan and Bangladesh. Pakistan didn’t show its best performance in the whole match except played against South Africa. Before the match with Bangladesh, Pakistan played four matches with 2 lost and 2 won. Pakistan lost its first 2 matches played against India and Zimbabwe respectively.

Then it won the next 2 matches of the tournament against the Netherlands and South Africa. Hence Pakistan team had 4 points. Pakistan won its last match of the first round played on 6-nov-2022. So its point increased to 6. Before this match against Bangladesh, Pakistan had 4 points while south Africa had 5 points, but south Africa lost its last match against Netherlands and Pakistan won against Bangladesh. So Pakistan’s points became 6 while South Africa’s remained 5. So Pakistan qualified for the semi-final.

1st inning (Bangladesh batting)

Bangladesh’s opener batsmen started very well with fours and six, but on the 5th ball of the third over Bangladesh team lost its first wicket in Shaheen Shah’s over. Litton Kumar Das was the man who was out in his over and Shan Masood took the catch. Now the Bangladesh team’s score was only 21.

Najmul Hossain Shanto a left-hand batsman played very well. He made 54 runs with 7 fours and faced 48 balls. Muhammad Iftikhar a right-hand spinner baller took his wicket. Bangladesh team batters didn’t stay before the Pakistani bowlers. Shaheen Shah Afridi bowled very well. He took 4 wickets and gave 22 runs in his 4 overs.  Bangladesh team made 127 runs and lost 8 wickets.

2nd inning (Pakistan batting)

Pakistan cricket team started very well. Wicketkeeper Muhammad Rizwan’s catch was dropped from behind the keeper in the very first over. Skipper Babar Azam and wicket-keeper Muhammad Rizwan made a partnership of 57 runs. On the 3rd ball of the 11th over skipper, Babar Azam caught out. He made 25 runs with 2 fours and faced 33 balls. Ahmad Nasum took his wicket and Mustafizur took the catch. On the 2nd ball of the next over wicketkeeper, Muhammad Rizwan caught out. He made 32 runs with 1 six and 2 fours. Pakistan team chased the given target in the 19th over and lost its five wickets and qualified for the semi-final.
